Washington 29th Apr 1820 Dear Genl. Mr Erwin, the son of Colo. Erwin, is now in this place, and will set out this day for Savannah. I understand from a gentleman who has conversed with him, that he will explain in the most satisfactory manner the whole transaction of the Africans carried to the agency by Bowen.
