In my communications to you, in reply, I shall frequently give you a peep behind the curtain of the grand Theatre upon which I am at present an humble actor. How long I shall remain upon it is wholly uncertain. My finances are at a low ebb, and my children are already, and will continue to become, more expensive, than I can bear. To return to the practice of the law, is not entirely congenial with my feelings, nor habits.
