Washington 6th June 1817 Dear Sir I have sent to Mr Hall a plan of the lands intended to be sold at Milledgeville on the 1st Monday in August next, and requested him to furnish you with a copy of it as soon as practicable. It may be of use to you in designating the tracts of land which are reserved under the late act of Congress to the friendly Indian Warriors and their descendants. If in discharging that duty you should visit the falls of the Coosa, Tallepoosa, or Cahauba, or the junction of the latter river with the Alabama, I will thank you to examine and ascertain the sections and townships which are best
