As our horses arrived yesterday with Co "D" - We all vacated the Old Spring Wagon - for a change on horseback. The day was cool & everyway pleasant & we left our Camp near Pecos Falls at 7.A.M. & arrived at this point at noon & thew whole command watered & got into camp by 1.O.clock P.M. - after getting our tents up - The Dr, Smothers & I striched ourselves out on our beds - & were soon all asleep.
