Fort Concho Texas July 13th 1875 6 P.M. My Dear Alice - the Army moved to-day from their camp two to three miles south to another about 4 miles north and the last report is that they are to linger in the vicinity for several days, perhaps awaiting the arrival of an Officer by the name of Bullis who is to take command of the indians scouts etc. The Officers have bidden me good bye several times. And to-day I told them as they were saying good bye again that I supposed I would see them again probably before they left for the staked plains. It will soon be three months since I left Jacksonville. Two
