2/ the Indian Territory is now actually a District - the military control of which has been entrusted to me - and superintendent Hoag and I are to cooperate to run the machine - I feel that would in many respects prefer to not have a Mil. Dist. established - with its Head Quarters and its everlasting ((unclear)) and never ending doccuments and paper work -Yet I now hardly think it can be avoided and if the District is reestablished - the Head Quarters will most likely be at this Post - in which event you willl have an opportunity to display your skill - and energy in packing up.
