We concluded to wait awhile to see if the wind would cease or let go of its fury - but after remaining about an hour - by a smoky log fire in the cold - we give up the job for another day - and all came back to Fort Gibson - Should the wind stop blowing, or even come down to a quiet hurricane I will try to cross to-morrow I am in hopes that after this blustering weather soon we will have some good weather yet this month - but it certainly does not look like it, or Sound like it to-night - the wind is whistling fierce and cold.
