If the different societies could come to an understanding on the subject, little difficulty would be experienced in providing means for the undertaking: and there are doubtless many societies, which would gladly avail themselves of the opportunity of securing commodious apartments in such a building, by which a considerable saving in their annual outlay might be effected, and with far greater comfort and convenience to the members. Some months since the preliminary prospectus of such an undertaking was entrusted to many interested parties, who highly approved of the plan, which is certainly worthy of attention.
