I did not mean to leave you out in the cold when I excused you from writing so often on account of your essay.

  I have been very well and had a nice visit. Now I am preparing to go home. Expect to start for Utica Tuesday of next week. I put it off till then so that you can all write once more if you wish to ask or suggest anything before I leave. They would like to have you here in the class with Holden and then perhaps study theology with him in New York and both graduate where John is about to graduate. but I do not know what to say to them. A good many of John's books are here. Holden in that way does not have to buy many. Tuition rentals, as they call them, are only .50 a term. I will bring a Catalogue.
