433 W34th St. N.Y. April 30, 1883 My dear Nephew, We were very glad this morning to receive your letter with the postscript that the bills &c had reached you. We hope you will have a pleasant and successful journey home. Wish we might have advised you more fully as to your best route but trust you will see your way more clearly after starting and consulting with the ministers and friends. As the box of books will probably bring you first - to Dodgeville, Mary is writing to Rev S. Phillips, the pastor there and you had better call upon him soon as convenient after you reach Dodgeville and perhaps call on the Cenhadwr agents also - But you will have no difficulty, I hope, in finding friends.
Should you go to Milwaukee, see
