Sept. 1, 1946 Dear Mr. Burbank Many, many thanks for the very welcome letter the small pictures, the beautiful picture suitable for framing of Abraham Lincoln and the book of Views of San Francisco. Of course, the Entire Bay Area was the most interesting picture in the whole book. San Francisco judging by the whole book must be a most beautiful city.

  We are going to build a High School just as soon as we can get the materials.
  Everything around the Mission in new (except Father Benard).   The old buildings have
