get any if he is not willing to do so- we will do without one at present. I would not have many words about it any way. Mother says it is only half a dollar- not worth fretting about. So that if you dread very much going there- don't go. Mother and the girls like the dishes very much, especially the creamer and the sugar bowl if it was only whole. If you could would like to have you get me a net- something like Jennie's, only a little larger. Hers is rather small. If you have not got the moss already, would you not look at the little baskets, and see if you could get something pretty for the center of my wreath. Jennie thinks she saw some, where they keep the moss. Do not trouble about those little things, if it is not convenient to get them. If you see any thing else at Myers that would be pretty in the wreath, some pretty green leaves or something so. Please procure if not too costly. Those leaves you sent are very pretty. Don't go any where but Myers for these things, unless you wish to. I don't want you to run all over the city, and tire yourself all out before you come home. Sarah would like to have you get some cards for her- suitable for large scholars- also look at question books and get your own pleasure about getting some. She thinks there are cards with little maps on them if you find any such please get some for her. I think I saw some pretty embossed cards, ten or so in a pack, at Davies, different from any she has ever had, but I do not remember much about them- look at them and if you think best get them. If you do not feel like doing these errands now it will be as well to leave them till you go down next month. We sent $10 to you in a letter this month by Uncle- hope you have got it. Anna thinks she will not need to have you get side rolls for her unless you have done so- she can make some. Mother thinks it's most too early to get cabbage plants for us it will be better to get them when you go down next time. They had a letter from John while I was in Utica- Sarah was no better- their Dr. had no hope for her. We are all well. Hope cousin Mary will visit us again soon. Love from all Jennie

in margin: Get if you can two or three spools of white cotton thread, No. 8.
