I asked Keokuk today about Black hawk & he said he was a Sac & Fox Indian  said he knew him. 

he talks but very little English but understand all. Tomorrow I will get the interpreter and have a talk with Keokuk. I went to church last Sunday which pleased Keokuk as he shook hands with me in Church. I hardly think I will go out to the Sac & Fox
