We hear from J Eddie quite often through his father I suppose you are anxiously awaiting your turn for a visit We wer taken by prise when he told us of his plans he didn't tell us untill Sunday evening and he started Monday he thought his father had spoke of it while he was at Anthony we were sorry to have him go so far away but hope he can be near you hope he will have good success and be able to come and see us before long & bring his Aunties with him

  Our school opened Sunday with the same teacher as last term a Miss Kimbal of Paola. Our neighbors are all well I think. Mrs Lerenden has  just returned from a trip east to Elgin to see a sick sister haven't seen her since she came home. Mrs Snyder came to see us  one day last week had a very nice visit. She is a great talker. Mr Walthial & family have moved to town & rented the farm to a man from Mo Olive has picked 
a little sprig from the sweet apple tree & a unclear berry bush both from orchard
