I tel you we had some great times in the last week last Saturday evening we were very much fatigued from a long march coming within five miles of this place (at that time the Rebbles had posession of this place) We laid upon our arms and were alarmed two times and cauled out in line of battle caused by the pickets firing on Sunday we were all going about in every direction and all at once we heared an awful firing
