well yet? Be careful not to take cold if you can help it and take good care of yourself. My mouth and throat are some better, but still troublesome. There is a good deal of tenderness inside my lips and cheeks also my tongue and throat. What shall I take for it? We think we are very fortunate in keeping as well as we are-- have had no very hard colds this winter. Eunice is very sick all the time. The last we heard from them they were fearful she would have the typhoid fever. Caroline is with her all the time I think, and Laura goes there some. Ellen S. (John R.) is there also, and a cousin of Eunice, who has been boarding with her this winter and going to school. There are a good many cases of measles in the village. We are making a skirt for Jennie out of an old coat and some other pieces-- think it will be quite pretty and comfortable.
remainder of text wraps around left side & top: made a muff for Laura last week she had seen and fancied it-- and asked me to make her-- she had the fur-- the tabs of an old fashioned collar. Love to all A L E.
