My dear sister Mary:

    I don't think I can make out to write you quite as long a note as you did me, because I ought to be going to Elizabeths.  You are a good sister, Mary, for thinking about me, but I don't know as I want any thing from home now you have sent me every thing


as stop here to see us. I think of going through Remsen in about three week; ask Pa and Ma if I had better visit home then or shall my business be too urgent? I think, however, that I had better render good for evil this time and give you a call. this in haste from Anna
