Captured mules - horses and negroes and about 250 prisoners, and damaged the rebels generally. When they started they left the other 4 guns safe as they supposed now 1 - 2 - 5 and 6 reporting to Col Sprague's brig of infantry lying in Decatur Ga 6 ms from Atlanta and guarding a larger wagon train. About noon on the 22nd we were suddenly surprised by Wheeler's Corp of rebel cavalry and after a brief fight of half an hour driven out of Decatur.
