we have had a number of new recruits added to the roll within the last few weeks and as a matter of course we make considerable sport out of them. It is now after 9 o'clock P.M. Tattoo and taps have sounded and of course lights should be extinguished and everything quiet in camp. we have Reveille at 3 o'clock in the morning and march at 7 and so I am forced to be brief.
