Dear Aunties Robert has to many chores to do to day to be able to write a very long letter so I will gladly finish his sheet. We have a mullato boy working for us this summer "he is a boy that Sydney Duncan brought up" he was not feeling well to day so didn't help R any. We are milking about 21 or 22 cows now Betty had a nice heifer calf to day our Mary Ann cow had twins this spring we didn't raise either as they were small and came very early. Do you remember Aunt unclear how wild lofty used to be when we went to the barn she is as gentle as any of the cows now & that is saying a gooddeal as they are all very quiet after getting acquainted with us. We did not go to church to day it is windy & cold & rained alittle this morning
