Jersey Co Ills April 15th Dear Son I believe I wrote to you last week a few lines in which I stated that Eugean was very sick he is now up and around again you know something about how sick he was two year ago this winter and by that can form some idea how he has been this time only he has been worse than he was then he was nearly two weeks that he knew nothing about what was put into his mouth his brain was so much affected and recovers very slowly he cant talk much yet the rest of us are well we are having a cold backward spring but did not have snow like you did in March
