so taking all our drilling it din't leave a great deal of spare time. We don't know any more than we always did when we will leave Peoria Our Col. & Lieut. Col. have resigned & we will have to have another before we can leave any way- it maybe two weeks yet before we leave. Some say we will go to Cincinnati, some say to Cairo, some to Springfield, some to Quincy- But it's all guesswork with any of them I guess. I am just as well as could be now- my appetite splendid & I feel as well generally as I have since I came here. Tell the Folks they needn't worry in the least about me- just go on, sleep all night just as though I was in my nest upstairs.
