Chattahouchee

Friday Morning Nov 11th 64 Dear Wife I may perhaps have a chance to send you a few lines as a man of Co G has got a furlough and expect this will be my last chance for sending a letter before we leave and I presume for a long time after.. I am well which I [presume?] you would like to know [further?] I have no news of importance it is the general impression that we will start on the Campaign the first of next week which is least at hand the impression is that we are to go to Savana or [Charlstin?] I expect we will have a hard time if the weather should be very bad it is [Quite?] [plesant?] now all [illegible] [anxius?] to be off if we have to go.. We got some good news last night from [Elections?] I guess Abe is all right I suppose
