I embrace the present opportunity of writing you a few lines to informe you that I am well as usual hoping when these few lines comes to hand they will find you well and the spring fever left you. I received your letter yesterday and was glad to hear from you. My Ancle is about the same as it was when come here I cant walk any on it yet and it is not as sore as it was. I wish I could walk I would have a good time here with the girls there is some mighty pretty girls here in Quincy they come
