Bridgeport, Tennessee August 10, 1863 Dear Aunt R. Your kind letter of the 30th of last month has just been received and read with much pleasure, at hearing from you once more, far had I been looking for a letter from you for some days, and was just getting at my things to write you, when yours was placed in my hands.
