I can insure you that I opened my eyes in astonishment, when I read of Mr. Carey's marriage. My first thought was that it was Miss Fabes, according to Mrs. Maj S - prediction. Yesterday I took a little walk of about five miles, down to the 32nd Ills. to see David Glenn. I had a real pleasant chat with him, he being lately from home made it much pleasanter. His men speak well of him, as of his
