I am getting to be a regular old woman for darning stockings mending cloths & washing, think I shall put up a shingle and go into the business after the war is over as that would best suit a lazy man. Lieut. Davis is Act. Quartermaster to the regiment I am afraid we shall lose him from the company, but what we lose we may gain in Q. M. stores, as all the odd bits come to us he is the only commissioned officer that is thought any thing of by the company if he should leave his brother would get his place if the company have their say.
