It looks now as if it would last until it freezes up. I hope so it at least. How I wish we could get a small farm. one of about 40 acres- so I could keep a few cows + hens + bees. Dan could work at his trade a good deal. + we could raise were then we needed off of it. What do you say to selling the place in the Point + putting at unclear a small farm down this way. We could do well. We have had terrible hot weather for the past four weeks. but it is cooler now. This morning it is cold enough for a fire. I am holding the baby.- so my writing wont be very nice
