any place I saw after I left here, until I returned,- Mr Capp has been quite ill with his unclear, but is getting better, I believe he is now so that he can walk about. I have not seen him, I am told he had a very good attendant while sick,. you can suppose who she was, from that cause or some other, she looks very much worn out, and quite thin of flesh, I will write you frequently and let you know how I am getting along, I shall be pleased to hear from you on receipt of this, and as often as you can find time to write, I confess that I feel very lonely & homesick after being with you so long, But as I have a fair share of fortitude, I will endeavor to console myself,

Remember me to all the family, and accept my best love for yourself and our little daughter, as well as a hearty kiss, I cant write how much I want to see you, but will come to a close, From your Affectionate Husband C. Gardner Pearce
