We are having a very early Spring, are eating asparagus, and our lilies of the valley are coming out. Sis gathered the first blossoms this morning. Our earliest flowers, hyacinths +cetc are all done. Yesterday we had a little snow, but is passed off without doing any harm. We will not have many apples, very few of the trees have blossoms, but the peach trees are full, and the cherries + pears. Julius is very busy, they are digging the cellar of the house, and he is in the midst of ploughing and seeding. Rose runs all around the yard and sometimes slips out the gate and starts for town by herself.
