Brookline, April 12th, 1918 My dear Helen - I have your three letters, two in Feb. 11th-18th and one written in March to acknowledge- It is a great comfort- that you write so often, as I feel that I can keep track of you to some estent , but know in spite of the fact that you are in such a pleasant place and that the conditions are infinitely more conducive to your health than when you were in Florence Supposing that you must be leading a most - anxious existence with this terrible conflict giving on comparatively near you.
