I went to a party Christmas, and New Year's spent the evening at one of our neighbor's as it was too muddy to go to the party I had an invitation to. We received a letter from Sister Abby a few days since. they were all well. Sends her best respects to you and inquires if you don't talk of visiting them, would be happy to have you do so. Heard from Gusto also. they are all well. did not write much. I had a little evening party a few days before [Loll?] left. had a pleasant time. It can't be that you have fogotten us, can it? Write to us very soon. I heard from Marrieta last week. All the folks well. Cathy Franks nearly got three of her fingers broken in trying to put down a window, it came down so fast that she could not hold it and smashed her fingers. it made three dents in the window, it came with such force. Cathie has a little sister with which she is much pleased. I have some examples I must do and I am getting sleepy so I shall have to stop. have you heard that Mr. John Marshall is married to a Miss [Hinton?] of Marietta? Such is the fact. don't forget to write to us very soon. Father is very well this winter. I have grown so that
