Brother Kendall Sir I drew?off a list of all persons, and their Residences, who have signed to the Stock of the W. L. Institute and left them with Bro. Barber Keeping the Original Subscription myself with a view to collect whatever I can and occasionally I hope to be able to obtain more subsn. I saw Mrs. Seeley the Mother of Frank Seeley who has formerly attended School in the W.L.I. and entreated her to send him still longer and I think she will. I also had a long conversation with Mr. Simeon Seeley of Beverly who has a very interesting daughter and he gave me some assurance that he would send? likewise--Both will begin in the fall terms.
So far as he power if the Trustees is concerned about the purchase of an apparatus for the W.L.I. I believe Just as good a right to purchase that as they have to do any thing Else
