                           Your favor came to herself in reply would say that Bro Erasmus sent me the $600 note together with letter you wrote him on the 25th from Goodland. She  wished me to go to LaPorte & settle the note with Pluce __ I went over Yesterday to LaPorte & settled it with Pluce as per he's Wednesday? & your letter bought ? of Bank & sent Erasmus at [So Lazette?] the Note I delivered to Pluse  & Doncelly then.
