                 I Rec'd Your favour some Day Since & should have letter to You by return Mail but I am Without help in Store & Sarah has Not got any Girl & the Neither of us are very well. Your Land is not Advertise for Sale that I Know of I Said to Your friend that Thomas? at Oxford & found the land returned delinquent that as land with Taxes not Paid & the Taxes were so high I did not Pay them I think they were about $2100 but presume ere this you have Recd a line from Oxford Sat? You all right we are having a considerable cholera here now & most all fatall I hope for my Young family Sake we may Escape it if I Should be taken away it is my wish that Brother David together with my Wife Should Settle up my affairs he is Young & Healthy & Honest Would leave then with You but Your health is not as promising as his. I have not lost About $1400 since new years beside the loss of the General use of my hand & find myself Surrounded by a large family of little children which must have a vast amt of constance Care & Situated as I now am it is impossible for me to give them much of my time.
