  Dear Sir I Rec'd Yours of Nov 21 somes day ago Which gave me much pleasure to Learn You Were Well. But, I felt Sorry to think You thought Jesse Would not do well nor new where he was he wrote me last fall wishing to come and stay with me But I Knew it would be against Your & Sister Sarah wishes & consequently did not Answer him but if he does not do well Shall be sorry I did not. You say you think of Leaving Marietta but do not Say What You think of doing. I have More Business than I can possibly do my self _ & it will Increase and Want some one With me I know will do right Now if you Will Come & Keep my Books & Take Care of my Money Matter & Collect Bill & help do the light part of the Business Such as Alan Hoffey then Will give You #250 for Year & Board & Washing and Move if the Business Mill Afford it and I think & Mill & also continue to Increase  and You can have Your pat When you want it  I shall this Year Sell Ten Thousand Dollars North of Land. I have But one 180 acres of and payed first that may ?the Summer
