It is very difficult to get a house here & it is equally difficult to get board especially for a family where there are children. I wrote to Gleason sometime ago about his house & stoves, chairs, & bedstead, I thought we might easily bring up here bedding carpets etc. I have not heard from him, & perhaps my letter has not reached him.
