I designed to-night to have written you upon the subject of the Mission of Christ & the want in the human soul that needed, such a mission. It has got to be so late now that I shall not attempt to write you upon the subject to-night as it requires too much thought for the time I have, &, then too I am having such a ringing noise in my left ear occasioned as I suppose by the condition of my nervous system, that it unfits me for close thought.
