It is very painful for me to think that his journey may be the means of sickness & suffering to him & perhaps to permanent physical injury as I find a cold taken after scarlet fever has proved to many others. I know you will take good care of him, but I want to be near him too f he is sick, & suffering & to contribute all in my power to his comfort & restoration to health. If he get over this attack you must be very careful with him for a long time.
