Dear Sister Abby Many thanks to you, dear Abby for your kind letter; I would long ago have answered it had it been possible, but your little namesake has engrossed my time and thoughts I suppose Mary had written you that she has been sick (!) for a while I was much afraid that her life was to be, indeed, short, but am happy to say that at present she seems to be doing well. She is four months old today and weighs 14 3/4 lbs.
