about 20 posts - These I may use with boards instead of rails - So I get hold of hard work & do what I can to save paying out money It has cost an awful sight to get through the hard winter so much to get for the family & stuck & every thing in the feed line high except flour - That is reasonable - I have planted a bushel early rose potatoes - Shall plant 6 or 8 bushels late potatoes this year - Shall make garden this week I guess. but 'tis quite cold today & this morning a light snow covered the ground - I got 60 apple trees yesterday and shall try & set them out tomorrow The 10 acres about the house here which I reserved for corn & potatoes is already nearly all plowed - The man will finish in a day or two - I sold him a sow & pig to have it plowed I may plant it if I don't go till time to plant. Then if I go shall have some one stay here & tend it or let out the job - If Mary is really better & I hope she is and all are well & nothing happens and if God is willing we may soon see each other I hope
