my health - We rented out about 18 acres last year & the new ground I put in sod corn - It was a very dry season and poor crops of corn & potatoes & both are high - I had only 18 bushels of wheat to my share off from 10 acres but the man did not harvest only 4 or 5 acres the rest was blown so bad he would do anything with it so it goes - But every little helps 18 bushels of wheat will help a good deal we have just sent the last to mill & there will be flour enough to last 2 months - my corn is going fast & I may have to buy some - Had 30 bushels potatoes & I expected 200 - but we can get a- long may be only we've nothing to sell I have been buying meat but will have 2 medium sized hogs to kill before spring - We want to rent all the ground (except 2 or 3 acres for a garden) next year to some good man & you see if there is a good crop, the proceeds of 10 or 11 acres will come to us without my help and that
