But I hope we may not be separated long but enjoy many happy meetings. Yes, a few days more & I expect to see my mother, Mary, Chandler, and all Our folks at Warwick - I shall miss you and in thought very often go to La Porte and inquire for Sis Abby. We shall sit together where often you have been one of the circle, where we have laughed, talked, and sung together. Occasionally I may look in to the parlor where marched we in to presence of Rev. John and others, after taking improper steps (Hay & Straw foot strides) in tother room. We shall oft be reminded of that friendly gathering on the eve of your birthday. I have often reviewed the whole that then transpired and it has afforded me pleasure - Chandler will not have any one to stand up with him - He wishes me to be there and I shall try to be there.
