Dear Brothers & Sister - I have just come up from ironing and am very warm and a little tired but thought you would be willing to ex- cuse all amiss should I write now I reached here a week ago today, and wrote a short letter for David and intended to have written you on Sunday but Mr. and Mrs. Henry (she that was Pamelia Gates) & May Gates were here and going to leave Monday and so I defered it. Mon- day washed and Tuesday morning went to Rutland and returned last night. Stopped at Barre

(written up left side & across top) as soon he he did get it. Abby I ask you would ask Callie Walker for my Ottoman pattern and get it before she leaves for I would not lose it for a good deal. Has there been any decision about the road yet; also about the school I feel anxious to know - Much love to Mrs. Lee & Sarah and to all inquiring friends. I should write to each of you separately but my time is so taken up just now and you are all together so I can - unclear just as well. Did you get back safely Myron?
