   I'm not familiar with underlined:  Midland Humor, but I'll look it up.  I have a query at Grove Press, which does Evergreen publications, about my manuscript.  I'll see what happens.  It went to the high echelone [sic] at Harper and Row and then bounced back.
    I enjoyed the story on your creative writing in the graphics section of the underlined:  Tribune.  Gwendolyn Brooks has done all right by Chicago.
