  We made the trip west, to visit Midge's folks, in

late May/early June. But New Ross, Indiana, was our westernmost point. (Crawfordsville is the nearest emporium to New Ross, which is as lost in cornfields as Canterbury NH is in forest.) So we had no chance this time to get to Moberly, or Iowa, or Kansas either.
