Dear Gladys & Jack,

I brought you last few Christmas notes along when we came to Ariz. in January & mislaid all such til

now when we have to pack up for Colorado within a few days. sorry Gladys has been poorly - hope things have gotten much better since I last heard.

 And how nice to hear that The Jack Conroy Reader is out. Haven't seen it yet - the bookstore here is

misnamed and others in Tucson surely don't carry much but red hot novels and books on birding or mining. Hope the book does a steady business, Jack.

 We hate to go back to Denver because life has been so easy here for the past 5 months. But we have

to return.
