2/15/90 Dear Jack,

The deed is done - I have a new right knee.  surgery was a month ago today. I would like to

fast-forward the calendar by a month or two for by then the painful exercises would be done.

 Meanwhile, it is vital that I bend and straighten the leg repeatedly so it won't stay bent -

amazing how fast things heal.

 Beginning to get cabin fever - soon I'll be out & about on my walker.
