   I would never plug Wallie's book without the confidence that I feel.  He is going places and I want to get him off to a good start by having a successful run on this book -- otherwise he might give up completely.
    Enough sentiment - I think you know how much I love him.  He [[underlined:  will] ] continue writing!
    I think I neglected to apologize in my last letter the fact that I was asleep and failed to bid you adieu.   It was unpardonable of me, according to Emily, but that let down and lack of sleep did me in.
   Your presence was more than welcome and you proved no hindrance as you seemed obliged to mention.
   I'm returning a key which was dropped and owe you .08c. which I found and feel sure is yours.
