P.S. I told Dr. Eiseley you would guffaw when you read in the [[underlined: ?] Index]] that I was billed as "writer-author"!

Dear Mr. Conroy -

Just to tell you I am sorry I didn't get to see you again while I was in Moberly. Unexpectedly I got involved with my sister's moving and did not get to do many of the things I had planned while in Moberly.
I was back for the class reunion, of course, and you would probably be amused at the enthusiasm of all these men and women meeting each other after forty years. Somehow, we were all magically young, those forty years had never even underlined: happened.
I did a lot of cemetery wandering in Moberly & Huntsville & even up in an old family cemetery "somewhere around Jacksonville." All I know is that to get there one crosses Mud Creek underlined: twice.
